CORPORATE PR
Corporate PR is one of the fastest growing areas of public relations activity. It is concerned with building a strong reputation for a company. Our starting point is that a company must earn that reputation through its behaviour and achievements. A good reputation will endure when it is rooted in reality.
It is dangerous to make assumptions about how people perceive us. Often we are the last to know! For this reason, before embarking on a corporate PR programme it may be necessary to conduct market research to ascertain how a company is currently perceived. This research should include all groups whom the corporate PR programme is seeking to reach and influence.
WHPR will then design a programme to communicate the messages that the management is seeking to communicate to their target audiences.
WHPR’s experience covers the entire spectrum of corporate PR, including media relations, sponsorship, event management, internal communication, production of marketing materials and profile building for senior executives.
TECHNOLOGY PR
WHPR provides a specialised practice to meet the PR and communications needs of technology-related clients.
The technology practice team, which includes a former technology/business journalist, has strong capabilities and a deep understanding of the ICT sector and the relevant media. The key to this is our ability to effectively communicate technology stories to business and trade media.
The technology practice team has worked with a wide range of clients including multinationals, major indigenous firms, State bodies, research organisations and start-ups across the telecommunications, technology and Research & Development sectors. | | |
